Like many modern-day fairytales, the love story of actors Amber Anderson and Connor Swindells began when the pair met at work – on the set of Autumn de Wilde’s Emma.
During the UK’s first pandemic lockdown, the couple (both single and living alone at the time) decided to bubble together, and it was then, their friendship turned into romance. Officially sharing their first real date three months into their relationship when the world re-opened, it was thanks to Covid-19 that the pair fell in love.
The bride planned her dream wedding at Boath House in the Scottish Highlands – a beautiful venue close to where she grew up. She wore a Vivienne Westwood gown, paired with Chanel jewellery and elbow-length gloves, while the groom wore a custom-made suit from Atelier Arena.
The couple’s friends and family played roles in the big day, with Amber’s godmother giving her away and the ceremony officiated by actor Alistair Petrie, who plays Connor’s father in the television show, Sex Education…
