In the ever-evolving landscape of fragrances, a timeless icon is reborn to set new trends ablaze. Guerlain, a name synonymous with grace and sophistication, is celebrating the 110th anniversary of its historic placement on Paris’ Avenue des Champs-Élysées with the revival of its much-loved perfume, Flacon Tortue. This meticulously handcrafted crystal masterpiece – originally an emblem in gold – breaks away from tradition, embracing the sultry Baccarat red in its upgraded form.
Crafted by alchemist glassmakers, this unique hue results from the clear crystal infused with 24-carat gold, miraculously turning crimson under gentle heat. The Flacon Tortue’s metamorphosis is not just a colour change, it’s a celebration of exceptional savoir-faire.

Master artisans at Guerlain, in collaboration with the illustrious House of Baccarat, have skilfully shaped each detail of the reinvented fragrance. The translucent shell, reminiscent of a tortoise, is adorned with motifs in relief, embodying both realism and aesthetics. The perfume, now a luminescent tortoise in Baccarat red, is a fusion of tradition and modernity, blending heritage techniques with contemporary considerations.
To complement this radiant creation, Guerlain added the Champs-Élysées perfume extract to the mix, a precious rendition of the scent. This olfactory masterpiece will transport you to the streets of Paris on a journey along what Guerlain names the most beautiful avenue in the world. Featuring fruity notes of blackcurrant berries, rose, mimosa blossom heart, and base notes that echo the grandeur of love – it’s a symphony of senses that resonates with the modern bride’s desire for a fragrance as unique as her love story.

Combining the cords of fine artisanship with a unique fragrance profile, the Flacon Tortue stands as a statement piece. Its Baccarat red hue speaks of passion, its intricate design whispers of heritage, while its collaboration between the two iconic houses tells a tale of enduring elegance.
