Renowned for a signature colour technique that results in a natural blend of lustrous hand-painted tones, Dream Weddings caught up with the pro you need to know…
What inspired you to open your own luxury salon? We founded Limoz Logli after working in the hair industry for many years. We saw a need for a luxury hair salon that specialised in hair colour and challenged the traditional high street salon aesthetic. Our goal was to create a space where clients could feel relaxed and beautiful, while receiving the highest quality hair services.
What’s your earliest hair memory? And what drew you to hair, specifically? My earliest memory is from my childhood. I grew up in Albania and children’s hair colour always looked really natural. I love the transformation the sun plays on hair, especially on children. Similarly, I always wanted to create a colour that looks as though the hair has been sun-kissed, with no orange-blonde or warm undertones – a beautiful clean blonde.
What inspires you and how does this translate into your work? I feel inspired by art, beauty, creative design, minimalism and architecture. I like to achieve minimalistic looks that are timeless. My salon is a reflection of my work and you can see how the architecture and style plays on my personal style and personality.
Please tell us about the signature colour technique you are so well-known for: The Signature Colour Technique is a harmonious blend of colour achieved by hand-painting fine lustrous layers of highlights and tonal corrections, that many colourists take months to achieve. This technique requires a minimum of five hours to achieve but the results are effortless, naturally sun-kissed hair. Our signature service creates a seamless blend of colour, aiming to ensure hair grows out naturally, avoiding the need for regular visits. We are delicate and precise, creating a result that is premium and long-lasting. We respect the natural base (colour) of hair, refusing to compromise on its quality, and we insist on respecting the health of hair as much as possible. Our clients will never walk away with poor hair health due to our services.

What is the best part of your job? Alongside my Signature Colour Technique, I love doing colour corrections. I create masterpieces, the same way people do with art. It takes four plus hours in one sitting, but for me it’s a creative process. I love seeing the before and afters and the client’s smile once we have achieved the desired result.
Please tell us about your biggest career accomplishment to-date? I feel very proud to have been able to open our beautiful salon in Chelsea – and also now being the resident hairstylist in the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, where my team and I provide our bespoke services.
As a hair colourist, what’s the biggest challenge you face with clients? Convincing them to do semi-permanent colour on grey hair. Those with lots of greys don’t like to see lots of greys so they cover with permanent colour, however semi-permanent is more natural. The process takes time to see results, so clients are more hesitant – convincing them otherwise can be a challenge.
What advice do you have for brides-to-be when considering hair colour, cut and style for their wedding day? Try not to make any drastic changes at least three weeks before your actual wedding day, in case you’re not happy with the results and you need to make last minute colour corrections. You also need to think about what hairstyle you would like, in advance, as that will determine what length you will need to achieve that look.

Which celebrity or well-known bride’s big-day hair are you obsessed with? Sofia Richie had a very classy look – a stylish up-do. I love the quiet luxury trend and my clients always look for a style they will still love in many years to come.
What’s the best way to maintain hair colour at home? To keep the colour lasting longer it’s all about hydration, avoiding swimming pools and having a water filter, as tap water can contain strong metals that ruin the colour. Also, hair masks are great! I love the Redken ABC Intensive Treatment and the Living Proof Triple Bond Complex used as a weekly mask to keep colour vibrant.
What is the biggest hair trend of the moment? Glossy hair. My clients love the chocolate gloss trend as recently seen via Hayley Bieber’s transformation back to her natural lustrous-brunette hair.

What is your dream and direction for the future of your salon/brand? Tell us a secret… We have an at-home colouring range that we are working on! We want to expand to help people keep their hair looking great for longer. I would also love to provide training, and teach hairstylists about my technique via pop ups around the world, helping others improve upon their journey.
And finally, what is your hair motto? Simplicity is beautiful. Less is more.
