This spring, footwear aficionados, Malone Souliers, lift the veil on a second dedicated wedding capsule. Subtly nodding to the opulence of Victorian-era fashions, it holds a dreamlike sentimentality that echoes the mood of the brand’s S/S24 main line collection.
The Gala mule borrows Maureen’s iconic waves – ultra-feminine, it is detailed with a slim, embellished buckle-fastening strap at the arch. Meanwhile, Gwyn’s pared-back silhouette, with its open back and pointed toe, allows the intricate decoration to take centre stage. Finally, the Tala sandal returns in an alluring wedding day-ready iteration.
Coco Fong and Valerio Bava, Malone Souliers’ Co-Creative Directors, explain: “For this season’s wedding capsule, we focused on decadent embellishment that incorporates beautiful crystals and pearls. The decoration is hand applied to some of our most loved silhouettes, imagined in stunning white silk satin. Resembling delicate rain droplets, the jewels follow and enhance the shape of the shoe. Nothing less than one would expect for such a special day!”
