My favourite childhood travel memory is spending Christmas in Barbados with our parents and closest family friends each year. We rented a beautiful but simple house right on the beach and would spend all day in the sea. It deeply embedded the water and the beach in my soul as a place of real peace and joy, and I love nothing more than sitting on the shore in the gently lapping waves, hunting for teeny shells in the sand. I still remember the precise pink of the Cobblers Cove hotel where we would go with our parents for sundowners – and those striped umbrellas!

These days, I really love Paxos in Greece. We have been going there as a family for the past five years and it holds so many precious memories for me. Deep belly laughter, delicious food and the blue of the crystal-clear water on my morning swims with my sister-in-law get me through many a winter just in memory! Paxos is very relaxed and has the nickname ‘Paxos relaxos’ because the temperature and vibe instantly relax you. My favourite restaurant is Taverna Bouloukos. They make insanely fresh fish and their taramasalata is out of this world.
The best beach I’ve ever visited was in Mustique. The sand is like flour. It’s so fine and white. The water is the most incredible aqua blue. And the views are sublime. When I recently visited, we were the only people on the beach and it felt as close to being shipwrecked on a paradise island as I can imagine – complete with a bent palm tree.

The most memorable meal on my travels would have to be the lunch we had at Lo Scoglio in Amalfi for my mother’s birthday. We arrived on a stunning boat from Le Sirenuse in Positano, to be completely spoiled with fresh perfection from their kitchen. We enjoyed plate after plate of incredible spaghetti, local fish and vegetables that were just delicious in their simplicity because Italian produce is so incredibly tasty. We laughed, we ate, we drank. It was pure bliss and the slightly hazy boat ride home, bellies and hearts full, will stay with me forever.

Copenhagen is the best city in the world for shopping. There are so many wonderful independent Danish brands that aren’t in the UK yet, or if they are, they are hard to find. I think the Danes have the best taste; they always seem to have just a little bit of an edge and an eye for detail that I find really aspirational. The beauty of buying something while you are away is to buy something unique to remind you of the trip that no one else will have.
Without a doubt, New York inspires my work the most. It has a particular energy that just makes me feel like anything is possible. The people are so forthcoming and generous with their time, and I always feel like I make huge strides forward when I am there. I started my bridal brand in New York with a wonderful bohemian bridal store called Stone Fox Bride, which was one of the original innovators in the more fashion-forward bridal scene. We had so much fun working together because it was all so unknown at that time and so fresh; just friends collaborating on something new and beautiful. The world was our oyster!

My vacation wardrobe staples are great swimwear and beautiful dresses. I love Asceno for their swim and après-sun wardrobes. I always pack pretty dresses and my brand, Vivere, has a great range of holiday separates that can take you from day to evening with a little accessorising and lipstick!

My long-haul flight regime is always the same. I use the de Mamiel Altitude Oil because it is really calming and antibacterial, so it can help prevent picking up nasty bugs. I also love the serum and moisturiser, which I slather on throughout the flight to stay hydrated. And I drink electrolytes so that I don’t arrive feeling dehydrated and tired.
Next on my bucket list is Mexico City.
I really want to visit for Día de los Muertos. I have been there once very briefly for an eight-hour layover and was hypnotised by it. I found the city to be so charming, beautiful and rich in culture.

I also absolutely adore where I live in Gloucestershire. A perfect day would start with a dawn walk in my garden. In the spring, the birdsong is incredible and also deafening, so sleep isn’t an option anyway at that time of day! The lush, blousy flowers in my garden deeply inspired my spring/summer 2026 bridal collection, Adorned in Reverie. After my walk, I would go to a yoga class in Stroud with the magical Emma Tilley, followed by a wander around Stroud Farmers Market where I would inevitably consume some delicious homemade local fare and return home with an overflowing basket. Next, I’d invite my closest friends and family over for a picnic under the tree in my garden next to the stream for a long and lazy, rosé-filled lunch.

My mantra when it comes to travelling is… keep exploring! The world is such a big and beautiful place, and when we expand our horizons physically, it helps us to expand our horizons mentally, too.
