As CEO of EventChic Designs, the Brazilian-born visionary has redefined the landscape of luxury weddings and events, infusing each celebration with artistry, emotion and meaning. Since launching his Dubai-based company in 2015, Jardel has approached event design as a form of storytelling, where every detail speaks to the couple’s journey and every space becomes a canvas for love.

His philosophy is rooted in the belief that beauty must be felt, not just seen. From the initial concept to the final flourish, Jardel crafts immersive experiences that transcend aesthetics, weaving together culture, personality and imagination. His events are not just visually stunning – they are deeply personal, designed to evoke wonder and connection.

What is the number one piece of advice you give couples embarking on their wedding-planning journey? Always stay true to your story as a couple. Trends are wonderful, but your wedding should reflect your personalities, cultures and dreams. Focus on creating a day that feels like you – not just what looks beautiful to your guests, but what feels beautiful to you.

What is your favourite part of planning weddings? My favourite part is witnessing the transformation from concept to reality. There’s a magical moment when the couple walks into the space and sees their vision come to life for the first time. That emotional reaction is priceless for me and my team.

What is the most memorable wedding you have ever created? One of the most unforgettable weddings we planned took place on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab. We designed a heart-shaped stage, had a grand piano airlifted in by helicopter, and transformed one of the world’s most iconic landmarks into an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime celebration. It was challenging, but it embodied everything EventChic Designs stands for: creativity, ambition and delivering the impossible.

How do you help couples choose a venue? We begin by listening carefully to their story, guest-list size, cultural requirements and the atmosphere they envision. From there, we recommend venues that not only align with their dream but also elevate it. We are connected to some of the most spectacular venues in the world, and we pride ourselves on matching couples with spaces that set the perfect tone for their celebration.

EventChic Designs celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Having been in the business for a decade, what have been your biggest milestones? Reaching our 10th anniversary is a milestone in itself, but along the way we’ve celebrated many proud moments executing weddings for royal families, producing luxury brand collaborations with names such as Louis Vuitton, and expanding internationally to countries including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, the Maldives and across Europe. Another key milestone has been realising not only our clients’ dreams, but also a personal one: building EventChic Designs HQ from the ground up. Our three-building headquarters offer an unparalleled experience for clients to meet, brainstorm and explore our extensive inventory. We’ve also launched a unique ballroom space.

Congratulations. Can you tell us a little more about the new space and what you offer? Our new ballroom is designed as a blank canvas that can be transformed into the client’s vision – be it a wedding, gala or corporate event. It allows us to offer a fully customisable space, paired with our in-house design, production, lighting and entertainment expertise. It’s not just a venue; it’s an extension of our creativity.

In your opinion, how have weddings evolved over the past 10 years in terms of what is most important to brides and grooms? Couples today seek more than a traditional celebration – they want experiences. A decade ago, weddings were primarily focused on grandeur. Now, personalisation is paramount: immersive guest journeys, bespoke design details and storytelling are at the forefront. Technology and social media also play a significant role in shaping how weddings are imagined and shared.

Has EventChic’s vision or ethos changed since launching? Our ethos of creating unforgettable, meaningful experiences has remained consistent. However, we’ve evolved to place an even greater emphasis on storytelling, personalisation and innovation. We’ve embraced technology, sustainability and cultural diversity, ensuring that every event is not only beautiful but also impactful.

What are you most proud of and what sets you apart from other event planners? I’m most proud of our ability to push boundaries and make the impossible possible. Our creativity, attention to detail and understanding of luxury set us apart. We don’t simply plan events; we craft journeys and experiences that remain in people’s hearts forever.

You certainly do! Finally, where do you see EventChic Designs in another decade? What’s your vision for the future? In the next decade, I envision EventChic Designs continuing to expand globally and working with more international clients. I see it becoming a benchmark for luxury event design worldwide. Personally, I hope to inspire the next generation of creatives and continue building experiences that connect people through beauty, love and celebration.
