Characterised by artfully informed silhouettes, exquisite embellishments and opulent textiles, there is no denying Tony Ward’s mission is to tell love stories through design, with a distinctive passion deeply threaded into the seams of each and every gown he masterminds. The La Mariée Bridal Autumn 2025 collection is no exception.
Revered as “The Architect of Detail,” Tony Ward draws his inspiration from the realms of contemporary architecture, which enables him to conceptualise sculptural forms, innovate techniques, and explore the interplay of light and transparency. The result is a collection of gowns that not only captivate the eye but also evoke the essence of love on multiple levels.
“Love is in the soft volumes of cascading fabrics, in every lace detail whispering stories of magical feelings. It’s in the dramatic trains that sway with every step, in the ball gowns echoing the grandeur of timeless romance, and in the sensuous mermaid silhouettes revealing intimate feelings.” The designer shares.
In his latest collection, La Mariée, love is intricately woven into delicate handmade embroideries and embellishments, defined by corset bodices and flattering heart-shaped necklines, and expressed through floral patterns that bloom in diverse shapes, evoking the unexpected blossoming of love. It is within these nuances that brides find reflections of their own emotions, feeling genuinely seen and cherished. Each gown crafted by Tony Ward tells a unique story of romance, mirroring the dynamic nature of love itself; although each piece may differ, they share a common vitality that imbues the wearer with an ethereal and empowered essence.
This collection isn’t just about wearing a dress — it’s about wearing love.
